1. TU Delft Background Information

The Delft University of Technology, also known as TU Delft, is the Netherlands’ largest public technical university. First established in 1842, the university now has over 16,000 students and a budget of €380m.

It offers around 40 English language MSc programmes, which take two years. The first year is dedicated to theoretical study and assignments, while the second is devoted to working on theses which involve taking an internship or proper research assignment within a company.
TU Delft has a slightly different approach to their Master’s programmes: on top of the main programme some also have additions which they call ‘tracks’, each of which is a complete Master’s programme, which allow you to tailor your MSc to better fit your interests. TU Delft offers sixty such tracks.

You can find all of the MSc programmes and different tracks on the TU Delft site, including all relevant information.

It may also be useful for you to read TU Delft’s Master’s prospectus.

2. TU Delft Application Process

If you wish to start an Msc programme for the 2012-2014 years, the deadline for the physical arrival of your application 1st April 2012. You may only apply for one MSc programme.
