Student housing can be difficult to find in the Netherlands. Radboud University Nijmegen works in cooperation with Short Stay Housing Nijmegen in order to accommodate international students.
Information for exchange students applying for housing and searching for other accommodation is available online. You can apply through RU, and it is advised to do so, as finding a room on your own can be problematic, confusing, and potentially very frustrating.
As a Bachelor’s student, RU does not offer any assistance in finding accommodation. You must search for a room yourself. Check out tips and other useful information from RU about housing in order to get some advice on where to begin your search.
As a Master’s student, you can ask for RU to aid you in your search for accommodation. You may enquire about getting accommodation by applying through the International Office’s service package. (Note: You have to apply for the service package after you’ve applied for admission. There is a deadline that varies depending on your situation so make sure you apply in time if you need assistance with your housing and visa procedures!).
